Michelle Boakes

Chartered Financial Planner

The professional side of things

Michelle has worked in financial services since leaving school. She began her advice career as a mortgage adviser before becoming an independent financial adviser (IFA) in 2018.

As a Chartered financial planner, Michelle takes time to understand each client’s needs, objectives, and circumstances. She then makes recommendations designed to help them reach their goals in the most efficient way for their situation.

Her role involves regular client meetings, building lasting relationships, and helping people make clear, informed decisions about their financial future.

Away from the office

Outside of work, Michelle likes to keep fit by running, walking, or heading to the gym. She loves to travel when she can and enjoys learning other languages. She is currently learning Greek, which she describes as a challenge.

Family is central to Michelle’s life. She has a busy and lively household, which always keeps her occupied.

Michelle’s likes include spa days, holidays, reading, festivals, and dancing. Her dislikes include reptiles, birds, seafood, cold and rainy days, and unfairness.
